BAFTA 2022: «Dune» και «Power of the Dog» σαρώνουν στις υποψηφιότητες

Η 75η τελετή απονομής των βραβείων BAFTA 2022, θα πραγματοποιηθεί σε τελετή στο Albert Hall στο Λονδίνο, στις 13 Μαρτίου, με παρουσιάστρια την Rebel Wilson.

Οι υποψηφιότητες ανακοινώθηκαν από τη Βρετανίδα τηλεοπτική παρουσιάστρια AJ Odudu και τον Άγγλο κωμικό, ηθοποιό και συγγραφέα Tom Allen από το ανακαινισμένο κτίριο της BAFTA στο Λονδίνο.

BAFTA 2022: Τα φαβορί της Βρετανικής Ακαδημίας Κινηματογράφου

Το σκοτεινό γουέστερν της Jane Campion «The Power of the Dog» είναι υποψήφιο σε 8 κατηγορίες. Tο προσωπικό δράμα ενηλικίωσης «Belfast» του Kenneth Branagh σε 6. Το κύκνειο άσμα του Daniel Craig ως James Bond, «No Time to Die», έλαβε πέντε υποψηφιότητες, όπως και το «Licorice Pizza» του Paul Thomas Anderson που διαδραματίζεται το 1970 και το reboot μιούζικαλ «West Side Story» από τον Steven Spielberg.

Στην κατηγορία Α’ Γυναικείος Ρόλος, η Lady Gaga είναι για πρώτη φορά υποψήφια για την ερμηνεία της στην ταινία «House of Gucci» με συνυποψήφιες τις Emilia Jones (Coda), Joanna Scanlan (After Love), Alana Haim (Licorice Pizza), Tessa Thompson (Passing) και Renate Reinsve(The Worst Person in the World).

Ο Will Smith (King Richard) είναι υποψήφιος στην κατηγορία Α’ Ανδρικός Ρόλος μαζί με τους Benedict Cumberbatch  (The Power of the Dog), τον Mahershala Ali (Swan Song), τον Adeel Akhtar για το (Ali & Ava), τον Leonardo DiCaprio (Don’t Look Up) και τον Stephen Graham Boiling Point).
